The pricing fields for eCommerce option can create an eCommerce like form with automated calculations and stuff.
Currently there are 3 pricing field types available and they are Product, Quantity and Total.

While it will work without a problem, if you want you can also customize the design as you would like. That's also one of the amazing feature of Formidable Forms.
You can set the currency and other settings inside the global options for pricing fields.

As you can see, you can set the default date and time format and the default currency in the global options for pricing fields.
You also get a checkbox that you can check to comply with GDPR, CCPA, etc. rules.
It also comes with a hook option to allow custom coders to use different currency per form.
How To Add Pricing Fields Options To Your Website?
Well simply create the form and drag and drop the pricing fields options to your form. Click save and insert it on your website like you normally do.
You can use Product option as drop-down, radio buttons, checkboxes, single product and even as user-defined value.
If you will use dropdown, radio buttons or checkboxes then you will be able to add products as a list along with the price. And the visitors can select the products to puchase.
And when you use single product option then the other details will be read-only.
You are also allowed to control the quantity option. You can limit it to a maximum number or even make it read-only to sell products in pairs or something like that.
And now comes the total field. As the name suggest, this field will display the total number of products, pricing, etc. along with the calculations.
By the way, you can also use this field for custom calculations.

Well, these pricing fields are versatile. For example, you can use the total field option to create custom calculation which can be useful for almost everyone.
And as we guess with the name of this feature, it's built for eCommerce functionality. So if you are into selling any physical or digital products or even services then you can use it as your order and payment system.
